Kid Connections Therapy Services

We are a therapist-owned pediatric therapy practice proudly serving families throughout South Carolina's Midlands and Upstate communities. We provide speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy services in a variety of settings, including our playroom, homes, daycares, and select schools. Our Vision is to honor God by serving South Carolina families with compassion, excellence, and integrity, nurturing children’s growth while caring deeply for the therapists who walk alongside them.
Our team is passionate about creating meaningful relationships with children and families while providing individualized therapy that supports growth, independence, and confidence. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we're honored to be part of that journey.

Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy helps children develop safe, efficient, and enjoyable eating and drinking skills. Our therapists evaluate and treat a variety of feeding challenges, including picky eating, Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD), Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), difficulty transitioning to new foods or textures, oral motor delays, chewing and swallowing difficulties, bottle and breastfeeding concerns, and mealtime behaviors that impact nutrition and family routines. We also offer specialized pre- and post-tongue tie and lip tie release programs designed to improve oral function, feeding efficiency, muscle coordination, and long-term feeding outcomes. Working closely with families and other healthcare providers, our therapists create individualized treatment plans and practical home strategies that support positive mealtime experiences while helping children build the skills needed for successful feeding, nutrition, and growth.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists help children develop the skills needed for success in daily activities at home, school, and within the community. Occupational therapy addresses fine motor development, handwriting, sensory processing, self-care skills, emotional regulation, visual motor integration, attention, and play skills. Through engaging and child-centered activities, our therapists work to improve independence, participation, and confidence in everyday routines while supporting each child's unique strengths and needs.

Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists help children improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and overall physical development. Physical therapy may address developmental delays, gross motor challenges, gait abnormalities, neurological conditions, orthopedic concerns, and injuries. Using fun, motivating activities tailored to each child, our therapists focus on helping children move safely and confidently while achieving milestones that support participation in family, school, and community activities.
Speech & Language Therapy
Our speech therapists help children develop the communication skills they need to connect with family, friends, teachers, and the world around them. We evaluate and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication challenges, including articulation and speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), language delays, receptive and expressive language disorders, social communication difficulties, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and feeding-related communication concerns. Our therapists have experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cleft lip and palate, and a variety of genetic and developmental disorders. Therapy is individualized, play-based, and designed to build confidence while helping each child achieve meaningful communication goals that support success at home, school, and within the community.

Connecting Hearts Therapy Program
The Connecting Hearts Therapy Program is a unique, nature-based therapy experience that combines the benefits of occupational therapy with meaningful interactions with animals, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning. Through carefully planned activities, children have opportunities to build strength, coordination, balance, sensory regulation, motor planning, attention, social skills, and independence in a motivating and engaging environment.
Children may participate in activities such as feeding and watering animals, grooming horses and cows, collecting eggs, gardening, carrying supplies, navigating outdoor obstacle courses, and completing farm-based chores. These experiences naturally promote fine motor skills, gross motor development, bilateral coordination, visual motor skills, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and confidence while encouraging meaningful participation in everyday activities.
One of the most special aspects of the program is the opportunity to interact with the animals of Heart Ridge Farms, including horses, Highland cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. These animal-assisted experiences help foster connection, responsibility, communication, and self-confidence while creating a therapeutic environment that is both fun and meaningful.
The Connecting Hearts Therapy Program allows children to learn, grow, and develop essential life skills through movement, nature, animals, and purposeful play, all while building lasting memories and meaningful connections.
